The international collaboration on Computational Atomic Structure

Jörgen Ekman

senior lecturer

Research interests

My primary research interests are the atom, atomic nuclei and in between. More specifically I'm using computer programs to perform relativistic quantum mechanical calculations on atomic systems. In particular I'm interested in what is going on between the atom and nucleues, i.e. in the so-called nuclear effects such as isotope shift and hyperfine structure. Recently I'm also involved in code development.
